It’s Thursday, time to throwback to the classics. A little video mix of basically anything n8itude-ian .. aka anything I like. Wrestling, Hip Hop, Baseball, UFC, Super Hero Cartoons and some classic Dunk Contest Champions – YESSIR some good tings from the good old days.
Ah… the good old days the good old days, can it all be so simple?
Wu-Tang Clan – Can It All Be So Simple
Well while we are on the classic Wu front let’s take it back to PRE-WU! Rza …pre-rza aka Prince Rakeem.
Prince Rakeem – Oooh We Love you Rakeem
You know what else we love and have been loving for 25 years already … Bonita Bonita Bonita.
A Tribe Called Quest – Bonita AppleBum
Pitchers and catchers reported for duty this week and that means Opening Day is close at hand. With all this freezing weather we are getting here in the T-Dot, I’m glad we got the Dome in 89, but I bet those Jays early adopters in 77 wished they had a roof over the mistake by the lake.
Now let;s close out Exhibition Stadium with a famous Blue Jays walk off home run … no not Joltin Joe’s we’ver seen that a billion times. George Bell walk off homer to end the era at The Ex.
Pete Rose. That’s all. This new commish in baseball seems cool enough to at least entertain the thought of putting Pete in the Hall, I sure hope he does, its a GLARING omission when the pound for pound greatest player isn’t there.
Check out a TWIB from 1989 which featured Commish Fay Vincent banning Pete, Nolan Ryan 5K K’s and Tony Gwynn!
More Pete in the ESPN 1986 All-Star Salute!
Time for a little bit of lieing, cheating, and stealing the damned show everytime Eddie was on screen.
Last year CM Punk made noise when leaving the WWE, this week his old buddy left TNA – where will he end up next? Home? Home as in Ring of Honor? If so, only for a short time. Hopefully no matter what Joe has in his “future endeavors” I hope he gets to tear the house down like Punk and him did way back in ROH.
Might as well slide right into Phil Brooks (CM Punk) newest profession – MMA or more specifically the UFC. These are 2 categories that I assume Punk will end up on eventually.

Holy crap Go-bots! (nice segue, not really). For some reason I have been thinking of these little guys lately, next time I go to a Con I’m gonna look for some.
Was the show really so bad? I don’t remember how it was, but I loved it.
Hey if there was a cartoon based on how awesome it was despite it’s horribleness it was…
Rocket Robin Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!
Speaking of awesomely bad hero toons – let’s keep it green with the 1966 Incredible Hulk show.
Speaking of green heroes .. damn these segues are not smooth.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles origin story
Zach Levine brought the dunk contest back last weekend. Back from what I’m not sure, because in recent years these guys were the ones who already brought it back.
Blake Griffin in 2011 NBA All-Star Dunk Contest
In 2000 Vinsanity took Toronto and the entire NBA over and elevated the contest. Everything you see now was because of THIS performance by Vince Carter.
Vince wasn’t the last Raptor to win it all, only 2 years ago in 2013 Terrence Ross electrified the contest fittingly with an Air Canada tribute – back to back 50s!
Dude was doing it BACK in High School!
What did his school alumni think when they learned the champ was coming back for the UW Alumni all-star game dunk contest!
Boom! Now that should occupy your time wasting schedule for a while.
